100% Client-Side Processing
When you upload an image, capture a photo with your phone camera, or convert a video, the binary byte manipulation, EXIF tag injection, and 3:4 aspect ratio formatting happen entirely within your device's memory using JavaScript and Canvas APIs. No media files are ever transmitted to any remote server, cloud API, or third-party database.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
- Photos & Videos: Your personal media is never uploaded, recorded, or archived. All transformations occur ephemerally in your browser.
- Biometric or Facial Data: FreeImGen AI does not scan, identify, or extract facial recognition data from any imagery.
- Location & Geotags: Any GPS coordinates attached to converted photos are either synthesized default tags or generated locally on your device upon shutter capture. We do not track or record your physical location.
- Personal Identifiers: We do not require accounts, logins, email addresses, phone numbers, or credit card details.
2. Local Storage & Cookies
FreeImGen AI utilizes standard browser localStorage exclusively for:
- Saving your preferred visual theme (light or dark).
- Remembering your last selected smart glasses model preset for your next visit.
3. Camera & Device Hardware Permissions
If you choose to use the "Take Photo with Camera" feature, your browser will prompt you for camera access. This permission is managed strictly by your operating system (iOS Safari, Android Chrome, etc.). Captured frames are buffered directly in your browser's RAM and discarded as soon as you clear or refresh the page.
4. Third-Party Sharing & Social Media Services
When you choose to share your converted photo to Instagram Stories via your phone's native Share Sheet or Camera Roll, your interactions are governed by the respective terms and privacy policies of Meta Platforms, Inc. and Instagram. FreeImGen AI has no access to your social media credentials or Instagram account.
5. Security & Data Retention
Because we do not maintain servers that store user media or databases with user records, there is zero risk of data leaks or server breaches exposing your photos. Once you close your browser tab, all session memory is automatically purged by your operating system.
6. Updates to This Policy
Any future updates to our privacy protocols will be reflected on this page with an updated timestamp. Given our client-side architectural model, our core commitment to zero server uploads remains permanent.
